Presentasjon av dommer Maija Heinilä

Maija Heinilä originally comes from Finland, but has resided both in USA

and in Norway. She has a small Bernese Mountain Dog kennel called

«Milkcreek» and has bred Bernese for 25 years now, though very sparingly

with only one or at the most, two litters a year. Dogs from Kennel

Milkcreek have champion titles from 25 countries. Kennel Milkcreek was

awarded the prestigious Kennel Klubs Breeder’s Award for outstanding

breeding in 2011 as the only BMD kennel in history in Norway.

Though not a breeder, Maija’s favourite dog has been an Aussie! Her

Aussie male “Storm” is now some 13 years old and is her all-time

favourite dog. Storm came from Finland. Maija has always been

interested in Aussies ever since her five years living in the wild west in the

USA – and has followed the breed ever since its beginning in Norway.

Maija has also been to Australia to have a look at the Australian Kelpie and

Australian Cattledog in its home country.

Maija has judged in following countries, most several times: USA,

Switzerland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, Hungary, Spain,

Russia, Poland, France, • Sweden, Italy, Germany, Great

Britain ,Canada, Holland, Estonia, Australia, Czech Republic.
